무엇이 오가는가
이 앱은 개인정보를 수집·저장·전송하지 않습니다. 로그인이 없고, 수시로 뜨는 광고도 없습니다. 위치 좌표는 날씨·지도·해양 API 호출에만 쓰이며 기기 밖에 저장되지 않습니다. 도시를 검색하시면 입력하신 글자가 지오코딩 서버(geocoding-api.open-meteo.com)로 전송되어 후보 목록을 받아 옵니다. 날씨 조회가 실패했을 때는 저장해 두신 도시 이름이 같은 곳으로 전송될 수 있습니다. 개발자는 그 글자를 받아 두지 않습니다 - 그런 서버를 두고 있지 않습니다. 설정·날씨 캐시·예보원 응답 기록(마지막 성공 시각·연속 실패 횟수)·날씨 일기장(직접 적으신 기록과 한 줄 메모, 붙이신 사진)은 기기 안에만 있습니다. 이런 호출 시 표준 네트워크 요청 정보(예: IP)가 해당 서버에 전달될 수 있습니다.
[수퍼부스트를 여실 때] 이 앱에는 사용자가 스스로 누를 때만 열리는 '수퍼부스트'가 있습니다. 그 광고는 Google 이 제공하며, 보실 때 광고 식별자·IP 주소·기기 정보가 Google(미국)로 전송됩니다. 개발자는 그 자료를 받지도 볼 수도 없습니다(그 자료를 받아 두는 서버를 두고 있지 않습니다). 목적은 광고 게재와 부정행위 방지이며, 처리는 Google 의 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다. 광고를 한 번도 보지 않으시면 이 전송은 일어나지 않습니다. 동의는 설정 '정보·법적 고지'에서 언제든 철회할 수 있고, 유럽경제지역·영국에서는 같은 자리에서 Google 의 광고 개인정보 옵션을 다시 여실 수 있습니다.
[다른 제품을 눌렀을 때] 소개 칸의 BS Planet 제품을 누르시면 Google Play 스토어(play.google.com)의 그 앱 페이지가 열립니다. 이때 앱이 보내는 것은 앱 ID 하나뿐이고, 그 뒤의 통신은 스토어 앱 또는 브라우저가 합니다. 설정 › 정보의 「개인정보처리방침」 팝업에서 「웹에서 전문 보기」 를 누르면 이 방침의 공개본(https://bsplanet.app/static/hutweather/privacy-policy.html)이 브라우저에서 열립니다. 이때도 앱이 보내는 것은 없습니다.

권한
이 앱은 꼭 필요한 권한만 사용하며, 위치·알림은 선택이고 언제든 끌 수 있습니다.
• 인터넷 / 네트워크 상태 (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): 날씨·대기질 등 공개 데이터를 받아오기 위해 필요합니다.
• 위치 (ACCESS_COARSE/FINE_LOCATION) - 선택: '현재 위치 날씨'에만 사용합니다. 좌표는 API 호출에만 쓰이고 저장·전송되지 않습니다. 거부해도 도시 검색으로 사용할 수 있습니다.
• 알림 (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) - 선택: 기상특보·비·미세먼지·아침 요약 알림에 사용합니다. 설정에서 끌 수 있습니다.
• 배터리 최적화 예외 (REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS) - 선택: 위젯·알림을 정시에 갱신하기 위한 것으로, 허용 여부는 사용자가 결정합니다.
• 아래 둘은 **앱이 직접 적은 것이 아니라** 백그라운드 갱신 라이브러리(AndroidX WorkManager)가 함께 넣는 권한입니다. 설치할 때 자동으로 허용되며 따로 묻지 않습니다. 스토어의 권한 목록에 보이므로 여기에도 적어 둡니다.
· 절전 해제 (WAKE_LOCK): 예약된 갱신이 도는 짧은 동안 기기가 다시 잠들지 않게 합니다.
· 포그라운드 서비스 (FOREGROUND_SERVICE): 라이브러리가 긴 작업에 쓰는 것으로, 이 앱은 사용하지 않습니다.
• 광고 ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID)와 광고 서비스 접근 셋(ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID · ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION · ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS) - 이것도 앱이 직접 적은 것이 아니라 **수퍼부스트** 기능의 Google Mobile Ads SDK 가 함께 넣는 권한입니다. 뒤의 셋은 안드로이드의 '프라이버시 샌드박스'가 광고를 개인정보를 덜 쓰는 방식으로 다루기 위한 것으로, 시스템이 자동으로 허용하며 따로 묻지 않습니다. At a glance
No personal information is collected, stored or sent
What goes where
This app does not collect, store or transmit personal information. There is no login and no interruptive advertising. Location coordinates are used only for weather, map and marine API calls and are never stored off-device. When you search for a city, the text you type is sent to a geocoding server (geocoding-api.open-meteo.com) to fetch matching places. If a weather lookup fails, a saved city name may be sent to the same server. The developer does not keep that text - we operate no server that stores it. Settings, the weather cache, the data-source log (last success time, consecutive failures) and the weather diary (the entries you write, their one-line notes and any photo you attach) stay on your device. Standard network request info (e.g. IP) may reach those servers when calls are made.
[When you open Super Boost] The app includes Super Boost, which opens only when you tap it. Those ads are served by Google; while you watch one, your advertising ID, IP address and device information are sent to Google (USA). The developer neither receives nor can see that data - we operate no server that stores it. The purpose is ad delivery and fraud prevention, and processing follows Google's privacy policy. If you never watch an ad, this transfer never happens. You can withdraw consent at any time under Settings > Info & Legal, and in the EEA/UK you can reopen Google's ad privacy options in the same place.
[When you tap another product] Tapping a BS Planet product in the info card opens that app's page on the Google Play Store (play.google.com). All this app sends is the app id; everything after that is handled by the Store app or your browser. Tapping ‘View on the web’ in the privacy policy pop-up under Settings › Info opens the published copy of this policy (https://bsplanet.app/static/hutweather/privacy-policy-en.html) in your browser; the app sends nothing.

• Moon (phase, illumination, rise/set): computed on-device, not fetched. Schlyter low-precision ephemeris (12 perturbation terms); may differ from almanacs by 1-2 minutes
• Korean solar terms: computed on-device from the longitude of the sun. Names and meanings follow classical East Asian usage
Permissions
This app uses only the permissions it needs; location and notifications are optional and can be turned off anytime.
• Internet / network state (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): needed to fetch open weather and air-quality data.
• Location (ACCESS_COARSE/FINE_LOCATION) - optional: used only for "weather at my location". Coordinates are used only for API calls and are never stored or transmitted. You can still use city search if you deny it.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) - optional: for severe-weather, rain, air-quality and morning-summary alerts. Can be turned off in Settings.
• Battery-optimization exemption (REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS) - optional: to refresh widgets and alerts on time; granting it is entirely your choice.
• The two below are **not written by this app** - the background-refresh library (AndroidX WorkManager) adds them. They are granted automatically at install and you are never prompted. They appear in the store's permission list, so they are listed here too.
· WAKE_LOCK: keeps the device awake for the short moment a scheduled refresh runs.
· FOREGROUND_SERVICE: used by the library for long tasks; this app does not use it.
• Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) and the ad-services trio (ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID · ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION · ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS) - also **not written by this app**: the Google Mobile Ads SDK used by Super Boost adds them. The trio belongs to Android's Privacy Sandbox, which handles ads in a less personal-data-hungry way; they are granted automatically and you are never prompted. It is used only when you open “Super Boost”, and only then is the advertising ID sent to Google. If you never watch an ad it is never used. You can reset or delete the advertising ID itself in your device settings.
