MediaAmp Pro Privacy Policy

MediaAmp Pro ("the app") is provided by BS Planet. This policy sets out how the app handles personal data. Effective date: 2026-09-05.

1. Personal data collected: none

The only personal data BS Planet itself handles is the order information it views in Google Play Console to support refunds (section 5) and the e-mail address and message you provide when you contact us (section 9); it builds no profile and does not use this data for advertising or pass it to third parties. There is no sign-up, no login and no BS Planet server, and the app contains no analytics tool. The only cases in which the app communicates outside the device are listed in section 3, and data handled by the other party (Google, Apple, etc.) is subject to that company’s privacy policy.

2. Data stored on the device

Play history and counts, favourites and ratings, playlists, resume positions, settings and effect values, podcast subscriptions and lyrics you added yourself are stored only in the app’s own storage and the standard media store, and are deleted together with the app. The per-track loudness and timbre analysis values read for recommendations, and what the recommendation learns, are kept in the same place only. If Android app data backup is turned on, the operating system also copies these values to your own Google account. That is a process between Google and you in which BS Planet takes no part (https://policies.google.com/privacy; review or delete at https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy).

3. Cases in which data leaves the device

The following communication takes place directly between the device and the other server, and none of it is transmitted to BS Planet. Because the Google Play Data safety form labels any transfer off the device as collection, the voice and advertising items are declared on that form.

4. Permissions

Reading music and video is used to show and play your library, the microphone for voice commands and voice search, notifications for playback controls and new podcast episodes, display over other apps for the floating lyrics window, and Wi-Fi multicast for discovering cast and DLNA devices. Nearby devices (Bluetooth) is used only to show the audio codec negotiated with the connected Bluetooth headphones or speaker on screen (the device name comes from the system audio information, not from this permission); the app does not send that information off the device. The advertising ID permission is merged by the Google ad SDK and used only while an ad is shown. Denying a permission leaves the remaining features working; every permission serves a function on the device, and BS Planet does not receive the data.

5. Google Play billing and Play Console

Payment, refunds and verification of purchase status are performed by Google Play, and payment details are not passed to the app. Purchase records, ratings, reviews, install statistics and crash reports are data that Google Play collects and holds as the store; BS Planet only views, in Play Console, what Google makes available to developers and does not store it separately or combine it with other data (https://policies.google.com/privacy, https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/). Transaction records required by the Korean E-Commerce Act are retained to the extent Google Play provides them.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children and has no channel through which children’s personal data could be collected.

7. Your rights

You may ask BS Planet to access, correct, delete or restrict the personal data it handles itself: the order information it views for refunds (section 5) and the e-mail address and message you send us (section 9). Write to support@bsplanet.app; we answer an access request within 10 days. Values stored on the device are not held by BS Planet; you delete search history and play history in the app’s settings, and the rest by uninstalling the app. Data held by Google or Apple should be requested from that company directly (https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy).

8. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the changes and the effective date are announced with the app update, and changes unfavourable to users are announced 30 days before they take effect.

9. Contact

support@bsplanet.app (limited to feature requests, defect reports and suggestions). Messages are used only to respond and are deleted once the matter is closed.
