Odumak Battery (the "App") is provided by BS Planet. This policy explains the information processed in connection with the App and how it is processed.

1. Personal information BS Planet processes

BS Planet does not ask for an account, name or contact details in the App, and does not receive the battery or device information that the App reads.

BS Planet processes the following only if you send a question by email.

Data: your email address, your message, and, unless you delete them, the app version, device manufacturer and model, and Android version pre-filled below the message

Purpose: replying to your question and keeping a record of the reply

Retention: one year after the reply. If another law requires longer retention, the data is kept separately for that period.

2. Information processed only on this device

The App reads and calculates the following on this device and shows it on screen. It is not sent to BS Planet or to any other server.

Battery information: battery level, health, charge cycles, temperature, voltage, current, and health values recorded by the device manufacturer. The battery QR data that Samsung devices record in the battery service output (dumpsys battery) is a value unique to each battery, so it is removed and is neither stored nor shown.

Device information: chipset, CPU, memory, storage usage by category, display, sensor list, system properties, thermal status and SELinux status. Unique device identifiers in the system properties, such as the serial number, IMEI and MAC addresses, are filtered out and are neither stored nor shown.

Battery use by app: only if you agree to view other apps' information, the App reads battery statistics to estimate battery use by app and labels the results with the names and icons of apps that appear in the launcher. It does not read the list of all installed apps, and the results are not stored.

Screen time by app: only if you agree and turn on usage access yourself in the device settings, the App calculates how long each app was on screen since midnight today. It is not stored.

Running processes: if you agree to view other apps' information, they are read when you open the Processes tab and are not stored.

Battery level and temperature history: while the App is on screen, it writes the battery level and temperature to its private storage once a minute to draw graphs, and deletes records older than 2 days when the App is opened. It does not record while in the background.

App list: only if you agree to view other apps' information and allow usage access, the App reads, when you open the Apps tab, the screen time over the last 7 days, last used time, cache size and whether each launcher app is registered to run at startup. They are not stored.

The App stores the last readout (the raw battery and device output), the adb private key, settings, your consent choices, the battery level and temperature history (2 days) the time of the last check and the time of the last pairing (used to show when the approval ends) in its private storage. The adb private key is encrypted with an Android Keystore key. This information is excluded from cloud backup and device transfer and is deleted when you uninstall the App. Text you copy on the raw data screen goes only to your clipboard.

Finding the wireless debugging port: while the App is on screen and while it waits for the pairing code dialog, the App sends mDNS queries on the same Wi-Fi network to find this device's wireless debugging service. The queries contain only the service type and the service names already announced by wireless debugging on the same Wi-Fi network (which can include a device serial number). They stay within the same Wi-Fi network and do not go to the internet.

3. Information sent off the device

Ads and analytics: the App shows no ads and contains no advertising or analytics SDK. It does not read the advertising ID and sends no information off the device for ads or usage analytics.

Update check: if update notifications are on in Settings (the default), the App asks the Google Play Store app on the device whether a new version is available each time you open the App or bring it back to the foreground. The Google Play Store app checks this with information from Google Play's servers, and that processing follows Google Play's terms and Google's privacy policy.

Google processes the information for the update check under its privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). BS Planet does not receive or store it.

External links: tapping Rate on Google Play, Get the new version, Update in the update notice, an app under BS Planet apps, Open website, View on the web, or a source in Make your battery last or Help opens the Google Play Store app or a browser. What happens next follows that service's policies, and the App sends no additional information at that point.

4. Automatic collection tools

The App does not install or operate tools that automatically collect information about your behavior, such as cookies or the advertising ID, and does not show personalized ads.

5. International transfer

The App does not transfer personal information abroad. As described in item 2, the battery and device information it reads is not sent off this device.

Update check: the update check in item 3 is performed by the Google Play Store app on the device under Google Play's terms and Google's privacy policy, and the App sends no separate information for it. If you turn off update notifications in Settings, the App does not ask about new versions.

6. Security measures

BS Planet does not operate its own server that stores personal information. Only the owner can access the email account for questions and the Google Play Console account, and the Google account is protected by two-step verification.

The App encrypts the adb private key with an Android Keystore key and connects to wireless debugging only through the loopback address of the same device (127.0.0.1).

7. Deletion

BS Planet permanently deletes question emails from the mail account without delay when the retention period ends or the purpose is fulfilled, including downloaded copies and copies in the trash, so that they cannot be recovered.

Information on the device is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its storage in App info.

8. Permissions

The purpose of each permission and how to turn it off are listed in Settings > Permissions this app uses.

9. Your rights

You can ask BS Planet at support@bsplanet.app to access, correct, delete or stop processing the personal information in your question emails, and BS Planet will act without delay and tell you the result. The legal guardian of a child under 14 has the same rights.

Viewing other apps' information can be turned off in Settings > Permissions and consent, and usage access can be turned off in the device settings under Special app access > Usage access. Uninstalling the App deletes all information on the device and the permissions granted to the App.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

11. Users in the United States

12. Children

The App is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Privacy officer

BS Planet is a small business run by one owner, who is the privacy officer and handles privacy matters and complaints.
